As the former chief of the US National Codification Bureau (NCB) and former chief of codification for NATO, Steve is one of the world’s leading authorities on the NATO Codification System. He has provided training and presentations in numerous countries worldwide and published many articles about codification in professional journals. He served as the secretary at all meetings of the Pacific Area Codification Seminar (PACS) from 2004 through 2013. During his over 40 years working for US DoD and NATO, Steve has deep experience with helping foreign companies complete the SAM registration process. He was also one of the originators of ISO standards 22745 and 8000, a director of ECCMA. During his career, he represented both NSPA (NATO Support and Procurement Agency) and the United States at meetings of NATO Allied Committee 135 (AC/135). AC/135 manages the NATO Codification System.
