Adopting Global Logistics Language
NATO Codification System
The NATO Codification System (NCS) is the foundation of all Logistics systems and the cornerstone of NATO Logistics. The NCS is often referred to as an international language of logistics. It is not an inventory control system; it is the logistics language used by such systems. To date, there are more than 50 countries in the world who have adopted NCS. Most of these countries assign and use NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs) as a key to logistics data.
The founder of ARNETT AND LIN has nearly 40-year experiences working as chiefs in US DoD and NATO Codification Offices, managing international cataloging.
